  • Read something that interests you 30min/day; turn your car into a “university on wheels” (audiobook)

  • Journal every day (blog, quotes, thoughts, experiences)

  • Stay childlike when it comes to learning and curiosity and questions

  • Keep your emotional state primed for learning; create a positive learning environment (calm, good smelling, music)

Visualization: Did you know that those who visualize themselves as getting better when they get older, are able to look forward to their golden years, respond to life’s adversities with resiliency and positivity, and do indeed live linger happier lives.

Memory Tips for Meeting New People: Be SAUVE –

  • Say the person’s name

  • Use the person’s name

  • Ask interested questions (notice I didn’t just say interesting questions, but people almost always respond well to those who are genuinely interested in their responses)

  • Visualize the person’s name

  • End every conversation using the name before you say good-bye
