Strawberry Kiwi Ice Cream Recipe
This is the recipe for homemade strawberry kiwi ice cream. It is a delicious and all-natural summer treat! Remember to use organic fruits as often as you can find them. This is a fun treat and easy enough to make with your kids!
I got it from my Annika’s nutritionist to when she was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and Celiac disease. It is a great treat for anyone managing diabetes or those cutting sugar out of their diet to lose unhealthy weight.
- 1 c. strawberries frozen
- 1 c. kiwi
- 1/2 c. hemp milk
- 25 drops of stevia
Personalized Strawberry Kiwi Ice Cream Instructions:
All you need to do is blend all your ingredients in a good blender. Next, place in the freezer. Freezing usually takes at least 3 to 4 hours. Finally, scoop some into a dish and enjoy!
Options for a Normal Healthy Diet:
Remember the fruit already makes this recipe sweet, and it is fine to skip the added sweetener (stevia). And yet, the sweetener does help give it the ice cream texture. If you don’t like stevia, you can substitute it with 1/2 or 1 measured teaspoon of organic cane sugar to taste.
